Great Classes
At the start of each semester we all go through the struggle of registering for classes. So I thought it would be a great idea to come up with a list of great classes that are enjoyable to attend. So what are some of the best classes you have attended here at the University of Montana?

I really have enjoyed Montana history, History 151, Political Science, Art with Bobby Tilton, Communications, and I took 2 of the best history classes at NIC. They were Ancient history and the professor was awesome. The other class was American History from the Civil War to the Second World War! I love History!!!
I think this is a great topic considering I have struggled through classes that I found pointless to my education. I would have to say that one of the best classes is Stage Makeup through the Drama Dept. It's open to all majors at the introductory level and the instructor is a blast. It requires hands on expierence and makes it really interesting. Also, if you are looking for lab science credit still, I am really enjoying Astronomy with Dr. Friend. It is really interesting in lecture and some of the labs have really expanded my thinking about what I see when I look outside.
Science 225!!!! just jokin... I really enjoyed History with Jeff Wiltse, and I am not even a big fan of history! If you still have a history class to take, try and see if you can find a class that he is teaching, he is great!
I took Wildlife and People last semester to satisfy a gen. ed. science (non-lab) course and found it fairly interesting. One pitfall about the course was that it had about 100 people in it, but the material was easy to understand and raelly got me thinking about the environment and my role in preserving it. Plus, the class was a nice break from all of my literature courses.
Some classes I have really enjoyed are: Native American Sports and Games, Anthropology, and Art with Bobby Tilton. I really like the types of classes that get more student involvement than teachers lecturing!
The best class I've taken is Terrorism with Richard Drake. It is very challenging, but worth the work.
